- Two independent sources minimum for every fact on a question page, preferring museums, universities, government bodies, encyclopaedias and peer-reviewed research.
- We link the sources on the page, so you can check us.
- Every page shows the date it was last checked.
- Disputed facts are labelled as disputed. If historians disagree, we tell you that instead of picking the more fun version.
- AI may help with drafting; a human checks every claim against the sources before anything is published.
- Corrections are public. Found an error? Email us and we'll fix it and log it on the corrections page.
